hi everyone,

I have added a hex bin overlay on the advanced search map. Each bin is colorized based on the number of treatments in it. The motive is to give the user some idea of where on the map one can find treatments (and hence, images) so one can draw a rectangle or a circle to retrieve them.

I am still experimenting with the looks of the map, so please send me your thoughts/reactions and report any errors via the issues page.

Many thanks,

the hexbins are now colored using an equal frequency binning so there are more colors all over the map. I think the effect is more pleasing and informative to look at. Hope you enjoy it as well

This looks really nice! Yesterday I was going to ask whether it was meant to be colored or not, but you were one step ahead :)

Not sure how feasible it would be, but could there be an option for the color vision deficiency?

No idea about the feasibility. Perhaps at some point in the future, but a bit out of scope for now as it is not a primary tool, just a search aid.
