A taxonomist would like to select the images that are helpful to him, and discard those, that are not.
Might it be possible to be able to select images and dismiss others so that at the end only those images are available, that are required?
In a later round, it might be helpful to save this selection for later reuse, so that you can build up a corpus of images relevant to a specific project?

This is a nice functionality but it requires a helluva lot of work. Primary among the requirements would be a way to track a user, and that gets into creating and managing user accounts, and that significantly increases the complexity (like many orders of magnitude). I have labeled this as "enhancement" and will keep it open so it doesn't fade away, but it will go on the back burner for now. Perhaps I can come up with a way to implement this without requiring user accounts.
