Many UX improvements in the AI-OA-workflow tag involve adding the ability to sort publications within a bucket or adding a Boolean to power a new bucket. These two approaches attack similar problems. (Simply put, the workflow is too full to be used effectively as designed.) At least one ticket uses a third approach -- making it easier to get data out of the workflow for manipulation in another application (e.g. Excel or OpenRefine).
To save time and effort, we should prioritize one strategy, implement it in all the places where it could be useful, and then assess whether further changes are needed. The goal with this ticket is to identify the approach we're going to prioritize.
We are going to avoid implementing dynamic sorting, but we will work on most of the issues mentioned above and deprioritize #999 (which is an alternative to the rest). #965 and #978 are ready to go. I need to clean up the rest and then close this issue.
