When Multiple object on bed and printing a raft, The Slicer wants to create a raft for each object instance. If the objects are too close together on the bed, the rafts overlap. When the slicer prepares the code each raft is printed separately. this causes extra filament to push up when the overlap is printed.
I would have expected that when the rafts overlap, instead of treating each raft as a separate instance, the slicer would combine the rafts into one single raft under all objects.
I've included screenshots of what is happening in the slicer as well as a screenshot of what I expected to happen in Cura.
