Cutting an object sometimes relocates it

Description of the bug

If I perform a cut operation under certain circumstances, the cut object is moved outside the build plate.

Project file & How to reproduce

Zipped project file and the STL

• Open project buckle.3mf
• Drag and drop ring.stl
• Select this object and perform a cut at 0.3mm, retaining only the lower part
• The lower part gets moved outside the build plate, as shown in the picture
• You can then move the object back and slice and print it OK.

thank you for your feedback. I checked reported issue. This is limitation of Arrange algorithm, that cannot arrange models into the parts holes, check #8225 .

I closed this issue as duplicate.
