I have 2 small objects (basically rectangular in shape, 27mm x 7mm x 2mm). I select both of them. Right click and Set number of instances. Set it to 12. Crash. I can reproduce this.
Project file & How to reproduce
With this file, select both objects, right click, selct Set number of instances, change it to 12. You will see the error saying that an object is outside the printing area, and a second or so later, the application will crash. Hinge Assembly v5 (2).zip
