Job Description

We are looking for a Solidity engineer with experience building and auditing smart contracts for Ethereum and related blockchain technologies. This role will assist in all our DeFi trading activities, as well as contributing to the extension of our trading and risk management systems. Your primary focus will be the development and auditing of smart-contracts, for the purposes of trading and investment. In addition to smart-contract work, there will be related systems that need to be developed and maintained.

Your skills and experience

Essential

  • A passion for crafting great code.
  • Experience with Solidity, web3js/ethers.js and your preferred testing suite, other related Ethereum tooling and libraries.
  • Familiarity with the EVM and writing efficient solidity contracts.
  • 3+ years’ experience working as a software developer, and/or Bachelor/Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
  • Comfortable with modern development practices and tools, such as CI/CD, unit testing, git/github and agile methodologies.

Highly Regarded

  • Expertise in trading financial markets
  • Proficient with Node.JS, React
  • AWS/Devops experience

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop safe and performant Solidity contracts. Review team members work & third-party smart contract work.
  • Write reusable, readable, efficient and stable code as part of or to integrate with our highly available and scalable trading platform.
  • End to end ownership of your software, including functional and performance testing, production support and documentation.
  • Liaise and cooperate with team members in the Sydney office.
