AutoComplete Module doesn't work properly in IE11

Current behavior

Internet Explorer 11, AutoComplete module. Selecting item through dropdown button doesn't work.

Expected behavior

It's oblivious.

Minimal reproduction of the problem with instructions

Click dropdown button then select any item in IE11. Available items will hide but AutoComplete still empty.

What is the motivation / use case for changing the behavior?

Compactibility with IE.
