such as , menu->add node->"subdir1/subdir2/"

then, I just can expand to "subdir1/subdir2/", can add new node to it , can move it . But I can't add new node to "subdir1/". In another word , I can't expand the "subdir1".

May have another command that I don't know? I have use the nerdtree plugin for 4years.

Does anyone know what this "collapse directories with single children to one line" feature is called? Because I would love to be able to disable it, it breaks half of the features I use the most.

@enali, @infracanophile, update your local copy of NERDTree. I merged pull request #558 last night, which might address your issue. Specifically, look at the NERDTreeCascadeSingleChildDir and NERDTreeCascadeOpenSingleChildDir options, the first of which was added with the pull request.
