It looks like the "Shared Clipboard: bidirectional" setting does not work when starting the VM with vagrant up, but it does work when starting the VM from VirtualBox.

Maybe this is related to the guest additions.

A similar issue is mentioned in Vagrant (very old), which refers to VirtualBox. I cannot open the VirtualBox ticket link at the moment, but the situation and the workaround seems very similar: hashicorp/vagrant#4894
