Custom sequence annotations

Hi there,

I would like to pass a json file or something of the sort to highlight some points of interest in the sequence such as custom binding sites.

I see that the "pockets" view has all the functionality. Do you know if there's a way I could maybe hijack it to pass my own json/information?

If there isn't but you're able to guide me how this could work, I could try to implement it (and also update the examples in the README as I believe the imports might have changed)
