Opening files via Finder doesn't work (at least not on 10.8.5). The editor will start, but tab won't load.
Double clicking the file or choosing from right click menu --> Open with…, same result.

I don't have an OSX machine to test on, but I've made a potential fix based on some online documentation. Please make sure to give this a test when the next alpha release comes out.
