I made a very basic file with some note in voice 1.
Afterwards I entered some notes in voice 2.
I changed back to voice 1 and tried to delete a note made in voice 2:

crash after trying to delete a note with voice 1 but made in voice 2
Entering two notes is already sufficient to crash.

The opposite works as well:

crash after trying to delete a note with voice 2 but made in voice 1

Enter a note in voice 2, and a note in voice 1.
Change back to voice 2, and try to delete the note made in voice 1: Bingo..........

B.t.w. I get the impression the bug has some effect on IE (11.0.11). Closing tabs under favorites doesn't work:

close tabs in ie 11 0 11 refused after crash but before closing the crash alert

and the Printscreen function copy/paste in Paint doesn't work properly as long as I keep the crash alert open.
After closing the alert everything works normal again.

I tested with input in both voices, but the crash also occurs with input in only one voice.
Deleting it with the other voice makes PTE crash:

crash after trying to delete a note with voice 1 but made in voice 2 - no input in voice 1

crash after trying to delete a note with voice 2 but made in voice 1 - no input in voice 2

PTE doesn/t crash when you input a note and try to delete an open space with the other voice.
It looks like the note in one voice is an obstacle for the 'wrong' voice, when deleting.

Even when I try to delete 'an open space', and delete with the 'wrong' voice, there seems to be enough protection to prevent from crashing. So a needless action saves a lifetime.

But... it is also difficult to delete with the correct voice. I noticed a sort of hanging of the keyboard. I had to press the delete-button more than once without responce. The solution: move the cursor back and forth to break the spell.
