Issue/Bug description:
When I open Cosmic Files (or navigate using Cosmic Desktop Portal) to a folder that has a directory named ".hidden" inside, nothing is shown (even other folders that are present in the directory and are not hidden) and the application will start using ~3 threads at 100% load.
When it happens using Cosmic Files, closing the application is enough to stop the 100% load, but when it happens using Cosmic Desktop Portal, the issue persists even when the dialog is closed and it's necessary to manually sigterm xdg-desktop-portal-cosmic.
The issue only seems to happen with a file called ".hidden". Other variations like ".unseen" or "hidden" don't trigger the issue.
