[BUG] Brightness slider lags behind when dragged fast

Expected behavior: When moving the slider from the battery applet moderately fast it struggles to keep up. Also the brightness bar (from the battery applet) and the displayed popup become out of sync with each other

Actual behavior: When moving the slider from the battery applet moderately fast it struggles to keep up. Also the battery applet and the popup become out of sync

Steps to reproduce: drag brightness button back and forth repeatedly at a moderate speed

Distribution: Fedora KDE 40

Desktop environment: COSMIC

Kernel version: 6.9.11-200.fc40.x86_64

Processors: 2 × AMD A4-9120C RADEON R4, 5 COMPUTE CORES 2C+3G
