Add-PnPFile and % signs

Hi,
I noticed that using Add-PnPFile does not work when the filename contains % followed by a numeral, unless it happens to be %25.
I used a workaround by uploading the file without those characters, and then use Rename-PnPFile, which does not have any issue with such names.
Using PnP v2.12.0
