Describe the Bug

Having "Remove Hyphenated Line Breaks" on creates issues with existing text, maybe especially in German.

In German there is a habit to use a - if you have an AND or OR between to words which are mostly the same.
e.g. "be- oder verurteilen", which is normally written "beurteilen oder verurteilen".

With the enabled option the - is removed and the text become "beoder verurteilen"

Expected Behavior

  1. This is an option in Content and not in Paste, reading the description of the option it would rather belong into the Paste section and should ONLY work during paste.
  2. It should normally only work with
line-
break

and not with

line- break

The last one isn't a line break at all as it is missing the \n

Hey @MMoMM-org . Thank you for giving your input on this. I do not believe that removing this rule will happen. If you want a similar rule for just pasting, that can be added. Hopefully that would satisfy this issue.

well my point is that the rule is behaving as it should, at least in my opinion. It should only be applied on a Line Break, not if there is a - followed by a whitespace.

I mentioned it that it is more a paste rule as the documentation iirc states it that way.

Maybe so. Though this rule predates the addition of paste rules, so I think having an option for both a rule and a paste rule makes the most sense as people may want both,
