Wanted to have a look whether I could use your work to create a node-based WMS server? What do you think? In that case, I should be able to create images on the fly and render them. Is that already possible?

And in your article (part 1 and part 2 - maybe you can include a link in the readme), you mention that you are going to add more functionality. Maybe a markerclusterer, as was done here). When are you planning to do so?
