zipline is of course the obvious natural fit for algo trading and ATS with python.

Turns out someone is already on top of it with the zipline-live fork.
Seems as though IB is their only supported broker and they have a lot of features to support yet.

We need to look at the fork history to see if it's even imaginable to integrate async code.
