Describe the bug
The Verse Ref View extension in https://github.com/paranext/platform-bible-sample-extensions/ seems to have an issue showing text containing quotes(?) or footnotes(?) correctly

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Run platform-bible-sample-extensions
Open Verse Ref View from the main menu
Open ESVUS16 (may also work with other translations)
Navigate the BCV to John 3:16 (type it in or click on verse 16)
See that not all text shows up, but only

"For perish but have external life.

Expected behavior
All text shows up like

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
