egui and Iced are amazing frameworks to create fancy UIs with little effort.

It also reduces the amount of C code on the program.

While it would be cool to have a Telegram app made for COSMIC, this project is specifically tailored for GNOME, and it would make no sense for it to use anything other than GTK.
