The Pantheon Solr docs page is out of date, it talks about Solr 3.6 and Search API Solr 8.x-1.x rather than the newer Solr 8 platform.

I believe Pantheon is still running older version of Solr. https://github.com/pantheon-systems/documentation/blob/main/source/partials/solr-version.md
