Currently

When looking to open Details for a post in the timeline users have to (potentially)

  1. scroll
  2. tap
  3. tap Detail

Describe the solution you'd like

Both Fedilab and Pachli clients allow to open post details by simply tapping the text of a post. I find that highly intuitive and user friendly as it is immediate and does not require opening menus from a specific icon.

Would it make sense to allow this in Milktea?

While I would like to open a post with just tapping it as well, you can also just tap the timestamp in the top-right corner of the post (depending on your app settings it displays as relative or absolute timestamp), but sometimes this doesn't load replies:
