I am wondering, if the API also contains information about the energy spent.
I'd like to add the Heatpump as a separate consumer to the Energy Dashboard

We normally create sensors for all data points that the API reports. So the answer is: It depends on what model of heatpump you have.
If you want to see the details that your device reports you can fetch a diagnostic file from the device card in HA.
