Quantiles

This is more of a recommendation. Currently, it seems that percentiles for tavg are not computed by default in climdex.raw. This becomes a problem when wanting to save calculated percentiles for use in later calculations as the software requires percentiles for ALL variables to be provided (see check.quantile.validity function).

So one could either remove the requirement of having percentiles for all variables or calculate percentiles for tavg.
