Researched a bit more into fuzzing:

Evan Wallace wrote a fuzzer for object spread: https://github.com/evanw/js-destructuring-fuzzer

The shift fuzzer https://github.com/shapesecurity/shift-fuzzer-js

constructs a valid AST https://github.com/shapesecurity/shift-fuzzer-js/blob/es2019/src/index.js
What I don't understand yet, how to shrink the ast: https://github.com/shapesecurity/shift-shrink-js
development is stagnant, stopped at es2019
we use it in https://github.com/oxc-project/oxc-fuzz-parser
