Was able to reproduce the issue from this ticket by running ocis 1.0.0-rc5 with a phoenix config.json that contains non-existing extensions (i.e. causing 404), e.g. the deleted pdf-viewer from the apps array or any non-existing extension in the external_apps array. Removing all extensions causing a 404 from the config.json lets the error go away. Switching back to ocis current master (or soon to be 1.0.0-rc6) the error is not reproducible anymore when adding extensions to the config.json like described before. Closing this issue now.
