On master, tested with Firefox

Steps to reproduce

  • Go to a folder containing a few files
  • Make the browser window narrow enough so that the sidebar disappears
  • Select a few files
  • Click and hold one of them
  • Move the mouse

Expected result

The files should move as usual, to be dropped anywhere

Actual result

The interface crumbles

@jancborchardt can you have a look please? Hopefully this is just css-fu

No, this unfortunately is due to the way the sidebar works (with swiping). Related to #11193

We probably need to experiment with the dragging force needed to show the sidebar … but that needs more JS than CSS. cc @PVince81 @MorrisJobke

Found this problem using safari and chrome on iPad iOS 9.

My steps are easier: just try to move a file to a folder using drag and drop.

On 9.0, drag and drop doesn't work at all on an iPad.
