Drag-to-slide feature should only kick in on mobile devices

I like to select text (even in lists etc) when reading it to not lose track of what I'm looking at. I suppose many others have this habit as well. ;-)

When the window size is small, this drags the list pane to the right to open the app sidebar, which can be annoying. I suggest this feature should only be triggered on mobile devices. Or, maybe - listen to touchmove etc events instead of mousemove?
