MTGArena not able to connect. Failed to load "xaudio2_7.dll.so", "GLIBC_2.33" not found wine client error:57 bad file descriptor

Initial Error

I first ran install/install_magic.sh and then run.sh which results in a black screen with the MTG cursor. I get the console output:

0053:err:module:load_so_dll failed to load .so lib "/tmp/.mount_Wine-4RJdDb7/lib/wine/xaudio2_7.dll.so": /tmp/.mount_Wine-4RJdDb7/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.33' not found (required by /lib/i386-linux-gnu/libFAudio.so.0)
wine client error:57: write: Bad file descriptor

After a while:

0031:err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x7bebc120 "loader.c: loader_section" wait timed out in thread 0031, blocked by 0058, retrying (60 sec)

this line appears repeatedly.

I use:
wine-6.0.3 (Ubuntu 6.0.3~repack-1)
and ubuntu22.04
