natural=sand appear from higher levels

Description

Regions tagged with natural=sand currently appear in style files level 11 (minzoom="11") although they are found on large areas (especially in Arab and African countries) and these areas do not currently appear at higher zoom levels.

Describe the solution you'd like

make areas marked with natural=sand appear from higher levels like 5 or 6 such as natural=desert (Currently shown from level 6),
the reasons:

• the tag natural=desert is poorly defined and not consistently used.
• natural=desert not rendering on "openstreetmap-carto" and they show natural=sand from high levels.

i did try to change minzoom of value="sand" to 6 but it only appearing from level 10
