👋 Introduction:
GM! This working group focuses on the global communications planning for the Nakamoto & sBTC releases. The main purpose is to set up a consistent communication strategy to help guide the ecosystem in maximizing the impact of these two major upcoming releases.

This working group aims to deliver the communication strategy and execution of amplification efforts for the following milestones:
In addition, this Working Group will become responsible for ensuring the Nakamoto and sBTC roadmaps and timelines are regularly updated.
What defines a communication strategy and amplification efforts
📅 Timeline
The comms strategy and execution for each milestone depends on when these occur, which is highly dependent on other working groups. It is the responsibility of this Working Group to remain in close contact with these and other contributors and fit the best communications-related outcomes into the available schedules and in line with available resources. Bi-weekly updates will give more clarity on timelines and deadlines for the working group.

A weekly meeting will be added to the calendar on November 1. If you're interested in joining the Working Group, please email mitchell @ stacks.org.
✍ Additional Context:
Given the nature many communications arrangements and the nature of partnerships likely involved in these efforts, it will not be possible to keep all the work for the WG public. A high-level roadmap schedule will be regularly updated, but the details and timing of specific communications will not as to reserve the maximum opportunities for exclusives and to respect marketing/comms norms with the channels and outlets we're likely to work with. If there are specific questions, community members are welcome to get in touch with the Working Group and see if more detail can be provided.
