What will determine if a theme will be considered as a legacy?

Hello,

I recently learned that the theme I purchased (Serenity) was determined by the PrimeNg team to be legacy and there will be no future updates for it.

But I would like to know what the criteria are for the PrimeNg team to mark a theme as legacy. Because this directly impacts the company I work for, and I need to justify this information.

And if I buy a new theme, it will continue to be supported and for how long it will continue to be supported.

Otherwise, I will not have approval to purchase a new theme, as I cannot provide security to my team.

Is there somewhere I can find this information?
Like a roadmap or timeline?
