Available money for the month

Hello !

In my Firefly iii instance, I have a few budgets with defined amounts for the month, and I have bills.

Finally I have a budget being basically the money I can use to do whatever I want, after the bills and the previously defined budgets are budgeted.
So that's never a fixed amount, and mostly just a subtraction of the bills and other budgets from the incomes.
Is there a way to get this amount in the budgets page, or in the dashboard page?

Thanks for starting a discussion. There is no way to get this on your budget page automatically, if that's what you're looking for. Although you can create automated budgets, there is no way to set them to "whatever is left".

You could use the API and develop something yourself of course.

Hello again.
I have a first draft that does the following:

• Updates a bill budget (name is in configuration) to set the amount of current month as the sum of paid bills + maximum sum of unpaid bills
• Updates a leftover budget (name also in conf) to set the amount of current month as the sum of revenues - other budgets amounts
