I have the feeling firefly might mix different multi-currency concepts in different places.
Here's the two concepts I see:
two stacks: a two currency accounts is a digital representation of a wallet that holds bills of two currencies. you essentially have two separate accounts in one
converted: you have a two currency account which has a grand total in the main currency, that includes the converted value of the other currency
So here's where that comes into play:
when we create a transaction we're asked to convert the money. This is evident because you can't leave the main currency at 0, so it can't be two stacks, it is the converted convept.
The line chart for that account shows two lines. This is clearly the two stacks concept. If we convert everything, what is the second line good for? I think it's only confusing because it shows the "partial truth", it only shows transactions in the foreign currency.
[to be continued]
[continuation]
the dashboard seems to be getting it right, here the two stacks concept is used correctly.
So I guess what I'm asking is:
remove the second line in line charts
Maybe it should be made more clearly that the Foreign amount is supposed to be the converted equivalent to the main currency and not a second amount
Disclaimer: I'm on an old version 6.0.26 because when I tried to update it was incompatible. I'll try again.
