Hi everyone,
Over the past period, I have submitted several applications and am fairly confident that my documents were correct. For my first to third attempts, I used a photo combining my university admission letter (stamped by the university) and my campus ID, yet they were instantly rejected. Starting from the fourth attempt, I submitted an academic verification report issued by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, which includes a verification URL. However, it was still instantly rejected, with the rejection reason suggesting that I should select the photo type as "Other Proof." The irony is that I couldn't even find such an option on the application webpage.
This raises my concern: could it be that GitHub's built-in OCR technology does not support Chinese or even any language other than English? It’s evident that students worldwide cannot be expected to communicate solely in English, especially when the official documentation in their countries is not available in English. Not all countries have English as an official language.
Additionally, GitHub Education previously failed to resolve my earlier issue, where my account could not even access the application page. This issue was discussed in this thread, which led me to register a new account. I must say, GitHub's handling of such issues has been frustratingly slow and unresponsive.
