Assignment Student Roster view broken

Hi everyone,

As a teacher, I view assignment submissions from the "Assignment Details" page. This page includes a student roster that shows submissions. This is currently broken in the following ways:

1. ALL students on this page are flagged "Submitted" even if they have only accepted the assignment. Presumably there's a way to distinguish between students that have submitted vs. those that have just accepted, even in the new copy+fork world. If not, then simply remove this indicator, as it is pointless.
2. ALL students are now showing "Late submitted" now that the deadline has passed. This is clearly a bug since this data is most definitely there (last commit date vs. due date). The Late flag might be right, but the submission time string is not.
3. Speaking of submission time string, can this please just show the time of submission. The vague "submitted a week ago" isn't helpful when dealing with deadlines. How about just "Last Student Commit at Sept 9, 2024 at 9:34 PM". Having to hover over the message to find the actually relevant data is not ideal.
4. What exactly is the commit count counting?? Best I can tell, this is the number of commits made by a member of the class, including teachers. If so, should it not at least exclude the teachers(s)? And make it much clearer that this is commits by the student (e.g., "3 student commits").
5. Sort order, newest first has the oldest submission first. Unsurprisingly, the actual sort order for newest first shows the oldest submission at the top.

I have no clue if these issues have been addressed elsewhere. The "Global Campus Teachers" community forum appears no longer to exist. At least all links from https://education.github.com/globalcampus/teacher are broken. And it was really never monitored in my experience. Hoping maybe this will be seen here.
