How can I create an unsigned xcarchive release build for iOS

I need to create an unsigned release build for my app. I don't have permissions to certify and deploy the app. I'm using NativeScript 8.7 Angular. I can create an unsigned ipa file with the command ns build ios --release. But now I am being asked for an unsigned xcarchive file. Is there documentation on how to do that? Can I even do that with the nativescript cli? Thanks so much.
