At the moment it renders three dots and not a horizontal ellipse …

we should probably drop the replacement character. reinhardt filters only support one argument.

Or use the correct horizontal ellipse Unicode character? This should work for most cases: http://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/2026/index.htm
