Is it possible to request the APP to sync with the device (to update an alarm for example)?

Just read the relevant documentations ;)

As in the python module documentation:

This is a complete python implementation of the Fitbit API

And from the Fitbit WEB API reference page:

Fitbit provides a Web API for accessing data from Fitbit activity trackers
