First of all thank you for this driver.

However, is there any way to simplify the usage? Currently, its very painful to set this up for dev and prod environments. Why not provide a managed/standalone driver that we can install, require and go have a beer?

Also if you have difficulties on Windows then try Linux, which is much easier :)
