Is a suggestion ie #549 and an issue raised part of the contribution? If yes, should they be documented and how do i put it across? @Kebith , @AddisalemB kindly help

Hi @ivutha2 please, when you say suggestion what type of suggestion do you mean because our task two has a column for suggestions in the table provided as well as below the table there is a part for general insights where you can point out any other information you have not mentioned in your table.

If you raise an issue of high priority, It counts as a contribution, and can be recorded in the outreachhy website
For suggestions raised, the mentor's should have acknowledged the suggestions , before you can include it as a contribution.

The mentor's will clarify you better

Hi @ivutha2 , you should record the link as a contribution. Especially if you feel it'll be of help. I think the mentors, in the meet and greet, said that there are recaps for most lessons (I've seen them too). So, they've technically acknowledged your document.

You can record your contribution by granting the lesson team edit access to the document (like we did in task 2), and also let others have access to view.

Then copy the link to the document, paste it into the place where links are required on the contribution page, and finally, give a description.

Your start date can be the day you first made the suggestion, and the acceptance day can be the Meet and Greet day.

So does that mean my suggestion was implemented and thats a contribution or what is their any communication that will come after, inform of an email to inform me that my suggestion was helpful. @Chidinma-Egwuogu

Your suggestion hasn't been implemented, yet. And I don't think it's something the mentors can accept on their own. Adding it as a contribution on the contribution page will mean that you want the Oppia lesson team to consider it. That is why you need to write why you think it'd be helpful in the description box of the page.

The mentor's already said in the meet and greet that they humanely wouldn't be able to review everyone ones work, so I would suggest you still go ahead to submit the suggestions as a contribution, and ensure you describe it properly

I didn't remember what the mentor's said in the meeting before I commented that, they actually said they would not be able to review every ones work because of time,

You should have this suggestion in one of your docs for task 2. You can have it in the 'other information' section. Though I have already taken note of it.

With regards to suggestions being accepted before it can be attributed to you as a contribution- during this phase, we can't tell you whether or not each individual suggestion has been approved. It requires time to make these conclusions, but we are thorough in looking through every suggestion filed.
