Optional task follow up

Greetings @Kebith I filled out the form for the optional task "translating lessons from English to French" as you instructed two days ago and I have not received any email ok how to go about it. I have no idea of what to do or how to to go about it.

Hi @Giftedgrace, Translating lesson from English to French. @Kebith instructed that if after filling the form i don't receive any email 2 days after I should open another Q and A thread.

I actually did not wait for any email after filling the form for translation, I just started translating on the Oppia website I think you can do same pending when you will get a response from the mentors.
Even till now I have not gotten any mail, except the google forms feedback mail stating that my mail has been received.

Yes I did . I started yesterday but the issue is, just as @successoghogho is saying how do I get to know which particular lesson to translate, what if you spend time translating lessons that are already being worked on at the moment. Because the instructions state that you can only include the optional task as a contribution only if they have been accepted by the team leads

I think you will be sent an email by the leads of that particular english to french translation group. Check your email or see if you can try filling the interest indication form again. It might help to remind the lead for that task

@Collette-vershalli @ivutha2 There is no need to apply again. The best thing to do was to call my attention to it, or send a mail to the team leads. I'll do a follow-up.

Thank you all i have filled it again. I wanted to do as @Kebith instructed, am sure she may help out in reminding the leads because it seems they are actually very busy
