A release for 5.18 compatibility?

A few distributions are running 5.18 kernels now and it'd be really great to have a release that was compatible. I can see that 2.1.5 is in the works, but it has taken longer than I personally initially expected. If it isn't due soon, it'd be really great to have a 2.1.4.1 w/ just the 5.18 compatibility. Assuming that is feasible or possible.
