Add ability transmit signal for muscles into sibernetic #11
Comments
@skhayrulin Great thanks for your outstanding work on getting Sibernetic reading the NEURON bridge output! When I run Sibernetic with the -nrn option and the _ria.hoc file and “worm” config file the neuron GUI never starts. When I run the same with my “proto_down_wrm” config (tinyurl.com/prtdwnwrm) for some reason neuron GUI stays open, neuron shows t in ms increase over time, but neuron simulation never advances past the init values for the .hoc file (-40mV voltage doesn't change) . When I run main.py in Sibernetic-NEURON its GUI+neuron's GUI loads but when I press play/pause on the Sibernetic-NEURON window it creates a “'neuron_name' referenced before assignment” error in NeuronWrapper.py in the error output. The neuron GUI will work as far as creating and graphing voltage changes when I press the ‘init & run’ button in the neuron GUI. I think possibly it is an environment difference issue, I am running ubuntu 16.04, python 2.7.11+, Neuron 7.4 with python support, with a Nvidea 680 GTX 4GB graphics card. What OS distro and version, python and neuron version, type of graphics card (ATI or Nvidea), and any other details deemed relevant was this tested on and known to work in? |
Hi @nmsutton I actually fix this bug with start worm config with nrn simulation issue #113 . |
@skhayrulin Thanks a bunch for fixing the bug where the neuron GUI was not appearing! We appreciate you putting time into fixing that. Unfortunately, the problem where the voltage never changes from -40mV still remains an issue. |
