The definition of railway=subway_entrance suggests that making a subway entrance be a node in a way is preferred.

However, the iD editor only describes such nodes as "Subway Entrance" when they're isolated nodes. If they're a node in a way, they're shown as "Railway", which seems worse. Such nodes should be shown as "Subway Entrance".

Compare these nodes in the iD editor:

http://www.openstreetmap.org/node/1677860418 (node in way)
