Hi cluster-nfd-operator team:

https://github.com/openshift/cluster-nfd-operator/blob/master/config/manager/manager.yaml

I tried to deploy cluster-nfd-operator in my OpenShift cluster. but the controller manager is running on worker node.

Then I found in the definition of nfd-controller-manager YAML file:

  • there is no definition for the controller manager to run on the control-plane or master node
  • it didn't have the tolerance for control-plane / master node taints.

Is there any reason that the controller manager should be running on worker node ?
