Description

Whenever a user creates a new report definition using an absolute time range (at least a few days old) and then creates a PDF report based on that definition, the report is created using a time interval relative to now.

How to replicate the bug

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Create a new report definition
  2. Select an absolute time interval from a few days ago (the bug is easier to see if one uses an old interval like a month ago)
  3. Generate a report base on that definition
  4. See that uses a date interval relative to now

Expected behavior

The generated PDF report should be based on the absolute time range defined originally.

What is your host/environment?

  • OS: Ubuntu
  • Version: 22.04
  • Plugins: Observability; Reporting; Security

Note

The date when I took the screenshots was the 29th of August.
It can be seen in the screenshots that the dashboard uses 29th of August as the to value
