Jhove GUI 1.32 hangs for an unneccessary long time for attached file PDF /A "SLSP_Liste_Affiliierte_Bibliotheken_V0 3-2_pdfa.pdf".
I start Jhove GUI 1.32, set the PDF Module, then drop the attached PDF/A-2u file into the Jhove window. Jhove runs for a long time and then reports that the file is valid and well-formed. The attach the result file, which has a size of 11 KB (Result_JHOVE_1.28_PDFhul_1.12.4.txt). We have the same problem with JHOVE-hul in Rosetta.
When I drop the same PDF/A file twice into the window of JHOVE GUI , Jhove immediately reports that the file is valid and well-formed. I get a similar result file of 11 KB (Results_JHOVE_second_drop.txt). The trick of dropping the same file twice immediately gives me a correct validation result. Apparently, the file can be processed correctly and quickly when I drop it twice. The long processing time for the first drop would not be necessary and seems to be a bug in JHOVE.
