@thiago-glissoi - thanks for your submission. Due to the relatively small amount of code, the editors will now discuss if it meets the substantial scholarly effort criterion for review by JOSS. You should hear back in a week or two. |

Just a heads up that I'm still working on finding a second reviewer. |
Thank you for your attention. In order to help with this matter, I would like to suggest two researchers in the field. Haixi Wu Christiane Wendt Hopefully these suggestions work well. Best regards. Thiago Glissoi Lopes |
Update - still working through reviewer invitations and hoping for a positive response soon. |
Updating again: I've been out with the covid for the past week or so, but am back on this and continuing the reviewer search. Thanks for your patience! |
Last batch of review invitations did not get any responses. I took a pause on this for the Thanksgiving holiday last week, but have now resumed sending out invites. Sorry this is taking so long! |
No problem with the delay. The authors appreciate your attention. In order to help with this matter, I would like to suggest a few more researchers in the field. Ismail Fidan Sang Won Lee Md. Thanks Thiago! Your patience is much appreciated - we've been unusually unlucky in getting responses (in either direction!) on this one, but hopefully one of your suggestions will pan out. |
👋 @bmcfee - Hi, what's happened with this? Can we figure out a way to find reviewers and get this started? |

☝️ @bmcfee – not sure if any of these might be similar enough to find possible reviewers here. |
Hi @danielskatz and @arfon ! The short update here is that I've had near total strike-out with contacting potential reviewers so far, and have had limited time to follow up in the past couple of weeks due to life intervening. Thanks @arfon for the similar papers recs though - I'll check through those to identify a new batch of potential reviewers and hopefully get this unstuck. Sorry (again!) for the slowness here, and thanks for everyone's patience! |
@thiago-glissoi - I wonder if you have any other reviewer suggestions as well? And @olivecha, in case you have thoughts on other possible reviewers, please let us know as well. |
Hi @danielskatz Yes, I can provide other reviewer suggestions. Arthur Fiocchi Neri Volpato |
Updating here: I have identified a reviewer that will become available for this in a few weeks, but I'm still looking to see if anyone can take it up immediately. Either way, I hope to get this moving very shortly! |
Hi @bmcfee ! Thank you for the update. |
👋 @bmcfee - I just wanted to see if this is still still moving along? |
@danielskatz yes, today was my self-imposed deadline for pulling in the backup reviewer I mentioned previously. I'll get that going later today and this should be unstuck. |
great, thanks! |
